Quiet Logistics would like to congratulate our friends at Minute Man Arc on a fantastic fundraising result at their recent March through Concord. As proud partners of MMA – an organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities – we are thrilled that the annual event, which took place earlier this month, raised more than $140,000 to support its many programs.
Quiet and MMA continue to expand our partnership, offering employment opportunities to MMA-supported individuals, or consumers, who are engrained members of the Quiet operations work team. They build boxes, prepare other packaging materials and work in the recycling area, all with positive attitudes and a commitment to excellence. Their work at Quiet underscores MMA’s ultimate goal: to increase inclusion in the community, to develop skills critical to everyday life, to gain self-confidence and to achieve full potential.

With our team of 20, Quiet is the single largest employer of MMA consumers; our goal is to increase this number as well as to expand the types of work tasks in which they participate. So far, on two occasions, MMA consumers have developed successfully into Quiet Logistics employees working completely independent of the MMA team, earning full wages and vacation benefits. We look forward to welcoming more MMA consumers to our full-time team.
Kudos to our MMA team on a job always well done, and to the entire organization on a successful fundraiser!
